A tragic two-vehicle collision on April 30, 2024, in Yonkers, New York, claimed the life of one person. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Central Park Avenue and Arlington Street.
According to Yonkers police, a black Mercedes-Benz collided with another vehicle before catching fire. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, but unfortunately, one person succumbed to their injuries.
The New York State Police are actively investigating the cause of the crash.
